Leadership

To fulfill our mission of feeding those in need in Fall River and surrounding towns a wide variety of nourishing food, the Greater Fall River Community Food Pantry relies on the leadership of our Board of Directors and officers. These community leaders donate their time and expertise because they believe neighbors lifting one another up lifts us all.

Find out how we get food to the community members who need it most.

David Perry
President

David has been associated with the Food Pantry for over 33 years and has been the President for the past 28 years. Married for 49 years to his high school sweetheart, they have 3 “beautiful” daughters and 6 “amazing” grandchildren, all who have some time in their lives volunteered at the Food Pantry. Dave states it has been an honor to have been associated with so many amazing people at the Pantry and looks forward to many more amazing years ahead.

RICHARD MANCINI
Vice President

Richard (Rick) Mancini has been with the GFRCFP for about ten years. He is vice-president of the Board and daily volunteer. His expertise as past Director of Facilities at Rhode Island Hospital as an electrical contractor and all around “Jack of all Trades” has made him most valued as working to attain the current building, design, construct and set up the interior configuration, including the refrigeration and cooling units. Generally overseeing the maintenance of the building and property, Rick is also the driver of the GFRCFP truck and thus can be seen traveling all over the Greater Fall River area and further afar. This 40-hour volunteer “job” keeps him busy in his retirement years.
