To feed those in need in Fall River and surrounding towns a wide variety of nourishing food.
Established in 1991 The Greater Fall River Community Food Pantry exists to assist local community members in Fall River, Somerset, Swansea, Little Compton, Tiverton, Westport, Freetown and Assonet, Massachusetts with sustainable, healthy food. Our goals include:
- Enabling healthy living: By supplementing the nutritional needs of our neighbors in the greater Fall River area with nutritional staples, we help them live a healthier lifestyle
- Empowering through choice: The variety of foods we make available, especially produce, appeals to the varied ethic preferences of those in the community, providing comfort and encouraging healthy eating through choice.
- Help for everyone: One of our goals is to reach as many people in need as we possibly can.
